I could not have asked for a better one. Saturday, my lover and I went out for breakfast at potato shack, it was so good! Then I read a book and watched while he played a rugby game with David and some other men. I have photos but I don't know if I'm allowed to post them... I'll use my charm on Kenji and we'll see what the Lord does. Today Angie, Steph and I went to a Bridal Fair in Rancho Bernardo, it was so lovely. Champagne, cake tastings, fruit dipped in Chocolate, caterers offering samples of what they had to offer..a bottle of white wine, good company and a jazz band = perfect. Yes, 6 months of turmoil, done. I actually know what I will be doing a month from now, I know how much I should expect financially, I know my husband will be fed, my exercise will be done, and I will have a new coffee machine. Watch, tomorrow I will be hit by a meteorite... That said, I'm very glad for the 6 months of nothing, the frustration, the humbling, the rip your hair out boredom, the no money for food... well it never got that bad, one look at my thighs will tell you that, but still, for all the imbalance it brought, there was that thread going through it of the knowledge that when it was time for things to change, they would. It's like the quote, "while the Lord is never late, He is very rarely early" kind of like Gandalf :) (couldn't help it) I've learned what it means to trust against all odds, and I do mean all of them, every single one. I've also learned that the Lord's box doesn't fit him and that although he likes to hide things from you, when he does allow you to find them, they are worth both the wait and the search. He loves me :) I am grateful. Thank you, Sir.
I am, yes me! The cord to the computer had died so we got a new one. Also I started my new job with Baby Hope today, she's so cute, she looks like the Gerber baby. Also my job involves taking her for walks along the beach, which is nice in itself, but also the beach is full of surfers :) This looks like a promising job. Also I'm getting up at 6:30 now that daylight savings has gone back to normal, it's really nice to get up early, also I have no choice....but still it's lovely. If you can name your kid Brandy, why can't you name it Beer? Just a thought. I'll post photos of Halloween eventually. Bye
I've been having them about my wedding. I had two of them in a row and it makes me anxious, which is funny cause I'm not actually anxious about it, but I guess my subconscious likes to torture me and make me think that my wedding is tomorrow and I have no friends here and no dress or place to get married. Sucks. In other news, Daylight savings is going to kick in and then I'll have to exercise in the dark, but I hate exercising in the dark, I feel like it's time to eat or sleep when it's dark. I miss Niki when I think of Mulled wine.... and eggnog, and basically Thanksgiving and Christmas. I love the winter holidays, they make me feel cozy. I need a pair of brown boots and a furry blanket to cuddle with my husband. Yes, and then it will be perfect.
The rain. I can't remember the last time it poured rain and I stood in it...it was probably in Japan, I don't think it rained when i was in North Carolina. I think rain is beautiful and I hope we get some soon. I want big, noisy drops and would love it if it came early in the morning, on a day when I could sleep in.... that would be perfect. In other news, I got the job I was hoping to, TYJ! We're very excited. I couldn't be happier. Life is good today.
I still don't know what to be for Halloween, I wanted to be the devil but Kenji said I can't be ...maybe it's cause it's everything we're supposed to be against :) So I think I'll be a fairy, but I don't want to be a fairy... so I'm stumped. I played volleyball today with a Robert Pattinson look alike (take that steph) I hadn't played in so long, it was fun. I'm interviewing for a job with a 2 month old baby, I really hope that I get it cause I LOVE babies. It's getting cooler here, which is nice but also not, cause it means daylight savings will reserve and it'll dark after 4, which means no more walks at sunset. I think daylight savings is stupid, there I said it. I'm off to Costco, the greatest store in the world :) to buy beer and look at their Christmas decorations, I can't wait for Christmas!! Goodbye
My camera died but started working again, Hallelujah! I had called the company that held the warranty because it was still under it until December, but apparently the warranty company went bankrupt so I wouldn't have been able to get it fixed anyways. Good thing it's all better, PTL. I'm officially moving back the wedding date to May 29th, over memorial day weekend. It works better all around as far as family and friends in school goes, since it falls during spring break. I'm excited about it. So far planning has given me one headache, but just one and I hope to keep it at that. I'm still wondering whether to wear a tiara or a flower.... help. My bruise is so ugly :( no more paintball for me unless they can make a suit that is lightweight but has plastic lining underneath so the balls never really hit your skin...ever! Now for Photos and save the dates..... in long sleeves.
